Hi, Daniel. Yeah, have you had a good Christmas? What? Yes, yes, you had a good Christmas. What did she get up to for Christmas? I went out traveling. I think you've been traveling. You look like you're, I was gonna say you look like you're traveling right now. Daniel, where are you traveling to now? Here you just here. Here you just that I'm just in this space. What? And wow, look at that. Filthat's massive. That's huge. Hi, Heather. How are you? Hi. Oh, am I not Hannah? I'm good. I'm good. I'm good. I'm good. You're good. You're good. You're good. What if you got there? You've got your bird again. The birds come. Hello. It's our little companion now, isn't it? What's this hdaniel? What what's that? Yes, what's that? That's just that's just food for the iPad. You know what I mean? Always sucket is a charger. That's what called it charger. Hannah, what have you done? Have you done anything for Christmas? Could I tell you my trip is very long. Or you can tell us about your trip planner. Tell us about your trip. Right? We go at and at Thursday. Thursday I have a good, I have the, I have to like the vacation for the Christmas and then which after that, the first day I woke up at 5:00 and I went to the airport. Goodness, to find after Macau. Wow. And you spent Christmas in Macau? Yeah, the four days and after, after after flying to Macau, I'm Macau. I first went to my hotel. I friend to my hotel, I just washed around. And after that I eat my eat too, my eat my dinner. And then, and then after in ating my dinner, I go back home, I go back to my hotel. And I slept after I slept the next day, I woke up at 7:00, I know, I mean 8:00. And then, then I went to the bus. And after the, after the bus, I went to, I went to defenfencing race. And after defenfencing race I finished, and I got the eighth place. And, and after that I eat my dinner and go back home and an usual wow. The next day I didn't go to a fencing race, which then I just played and played and played and played and played. The next day I woke up at 9:00 and then I went to a bus and the bus I'm I have another fencing, which which is for for four person eight like like the the team, it team and I got the first place that's well, goodness made that's offensive. Oh wow. That sounds like a very exciting Christmas and three are you been as three pop dinners you started Hannah. Three. What did you have? What was Christmas? 500 and I got 500 money. Whoa. Wow. Right. We're gonna a look at three stuff now. Three. Go on, show us your beautiful turtle. Turtle. It can glow in the dark. That's really cool. Medii don't think you'll be able to see this, unfortunately. Medium turtle, I don't know. Hang on, let me take. That's a medioh. My goodness, there's loads of them, the mediimmedium turtle. And so I don't know. Tiny, can you see this? Three, this is what I got for Christmas. I got a tiny, tiny, tiny Churchill. But. It's not colorful. Oh, I got two books on one pack of stickers for Christmas. Oh, that's in all these tiny turtles. Oh, we've got loads of tiny journals as well. Gosh, you guys have been spoiled. Lohere, I love it. I love it. Love Christmas. And then it's new ye's it. I think like, like just think for only three. Wow, tiny, tiny turtles fencing championships over here with Hannah getting her first place in her team, eighth place individually. Daniel and his books and travelling. Gosh, I should have done more for Christmas. My Christmas was children. I have bought two or three bookshelves I haven't read indeed. Very good. Right today, guys, we're going to first of all be talking about the third speaker and then at today's debate, all going to be about banning cars in the city center. That's gonna to be on debate the day we've got a little video. Everyone's already on it. We want teach we students potentially Hannah potentially see if we're on the same page. But yes, possibly Hannah that's not out of the question. Third speaker guys, we've been talking about the first speaker. That's the person that can make their speech who opens each team's debate, makes clear what they what they think, what their opinion is. The second speaker we spoke about that make sure that they they can give more points to their arguments. And rebutthe other speaker, the third speaker's job, got a little thumbs up. Come up. And for the third speaker's job, okay, is the last person, usually from your team to speak. So they part very important. Every role is important. But the third speakers 's importance is making sure that you leave your last argument with the judges. Yeah. Remember, you're going to be the last member of your team to make that final argument, right? How do we be a successful third speaker? We must repeat your team's opinion. You must make it clear. Your team thinks this. You must disagree with the other team. We want to see you rebuttle those final ideas. Make sure maybe if somebody in your team has not rebuttle something yet, the third speaker can address it. Useful sentences, things like, ladies and gentlemen, today I'll summariise the debate and explain why my team has won. Yeah. You want to believe your team has won it. First I'll rebuthe other team's arguments. Then I'll reinforce my team's point and explain why they will stand at the end of this debate. Nick, from the third speaker, I might say, ladies and gentlemen, today my team disagree with this motion because, and I would reiterate, repeat the points my teammates have said, and I might say, and speaker Hannah mentioned this, and I don't agree. Okay? So I might rebuttle someone as well. Why? Okay, sorry, go just an example out it. So step one, attack the other team's argument. Step two, defend yours Manato battle. So we're going to practice homework should be banned. So let's do it's okay, it's going to be very quick Hannah. We're not gonna spend very long in it and we're literally going to do a sentence and someone's gonna rebuttle so it's gonna be Hannah v. Daniel. I can no, I'm not. I might have a mice, okay, you can be whyou want to be, Daniel. Okay, right now we're going to have, okay, Hannah is going to be on the agree and you're going to be the description one sentence. It's just a quick match. It's a very, very quick match. Okay, Hannah, can you give a statement, one thing that you could say about why homework should be banned and then Daniel's gonna rebuttle agree. Okay, well, we're gonna swap you around in a minute Daniel, so you can hold on to that. Okay Hannah, what could you say for a Greum first? That agree side is like our children should be so tired and if they if they do so many homework they might don't want to go school and if they don't want to go school they can get knowledge. If they don't have homework they can they can easily have knowledge and just have like some some test or not like homework. Hannah, that's a great argument. Daniel, what would you rebuttle to that? But even though if children don't like to go to school, teachers can give less homework and and they can still practice at home and have free time. Okay, brilliant. Very, very well done. Okay, our mini verses this point is going go to Hannah. Well done. Okay, danielnot going going to be Green and we're now gonna have Daniel V3. Daniel V3. And our topic now, Daniel, is going to be plastic should be banned. Yay. Okay, Daniel, can you make me one point? Plastic should be banned because it's killing, killing many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many. Okay, many, many, many, many. Daniel, Daniel that's and a will be away on the ate Daniel again. Plastic, plastic has been killing many wildlife in the ocean like turtles and dolphins and and, and and whatever that eats plastic, I don't know. And and it, and plastic is also very hard to break down so that we should ban plastic bags and could we could use other bags like paper bags or bags. Daniel, well done. Daniel. Daniel, well done. Anyone one point? Okay. Three, what would be your counter argument? What would be your rebuttal to that? I don't read because I see online that 9098 or 90 what percent 90 or or 99 point what percent of plastic can be recycled. And we shouldn't bend a plastic because we can just or recycle them and turn them into useful things. It's very hard to bring everything that, because it's very hard to break down. We can use that as like bird houses and bird feeders. Oh, wow. Okay, okay, okay. And Welton, Daniel Wilton. Three, well, it's mini debate. Mindebate, well done. Well done. X, well done. Three. That's a good rebuttal, but I have to say that I am an agreance of the wildlife and the suffering of the wildwiso. Welton Daniel hanmini rokay three is going into to agree. Hannah is now going in to disagree and we're going to use our old topic. So three, this is going to be we should choose our own subjects in school. Okay, three, why I think we could do that. We should choose our old Surin school because if because that if we give those, if the children learn other stuff like like other stuff. Can can like like like art or folding papers into flowers or stuff and or like other stuff. They can they can help the children. They can help the children help the children learn more, learn other stuff and they will just get bored like they getting math class or something because somehow the teachers can slip those things into, slip those knowledge and Chinese and math into those classes and make those classes interesting. Okay, okay. Oh, that's a good point. That's a good point. Yes. And they will really, they will really get bored. In fact, they just just get really interesting and get better at those stuff. Okay. Okay. Three, right. Hannah, what's going to be your disagreement? Like we should we should not choose our own subjects in school, because sometimes if every. If everyone Choa subject they like, maybe everyone Choa math, like maybe everyone choosing more dancing and they can not learn knowledge. And also if we don't change, we not changed our subjects at school and all, then like then everyone tend to speak equal and usual. For example, if everyone can only choose one and someone wants to that they want, and the other one choose another what they like, it may be not fair. So, and then if they do, do not learn this, if they don't, if they only use the knowledge they like, you might say that it's boring, but if they use other ways to learn and teach, so, so after teaching, you can use the way that it's fun to teach. And also like if we do not change our subject in school, it might be also fun. Like sometimes we do have near class or other class and the classes that we learn and play will be will be equal and that will be fair to everyone. Oh, that was a really good reas. Well, Oh, okay. Oh, both of you had a really good fiyou've. Got a bird in your in your hair, Hanna. Oh, no. Difficult, very difficult. But I'm going to give it three. Well done. Three. I'm going give it to three for this, right? Because I really like the idea that you came up with a solution of like maths could be put into the subjects that you like maybe, and that as you could still teach it if you were quite a clever teacher. Yeah, I quite like that one. But Weldon, all of you, absolutely fantastic. Not rebutttles nice remembering of some of these ideas that we've been discussing. Yeah and really, really well done, right? We've done all of that as a practice. So reinforcing our ideas. If you're the third speaker, please, please, please make sure that you talk about the ideas from your teammates. Yeah. So if your teammate, for example, if Daniel was the first speaker, Hannah was the second speaker, three, you would perhaps repeat, not word for word, but you might repeat what Daniel and Hannah had said, just so we remember what's been said in the debate. Because remember, the judges might have forgotten what Daniel said four people ago. So you can make sure that your point gets repeated as a team, which is why it's teamwork. It's why you've got to work together. You're okay, Daniel. You look like you're applmbing. So we want to use examples, we want to rebuttle, we want new explanations, but we also want you to repeat the ideas. Okay, so we're all we've all turned into Spiderman and so Spiderman works in a team and so we must we Yeah we must work in a team where we Spiderman Oh, we've got three spidermands now. Hello gang. Okay, so you're going to help your teammates develop the Kyou're going to talk to each other. Okay, you need to make sure that you think about what you all agree with when you're making your points and brainstorm, which is what we're gonna to do. Now we didn't do that now, but before we do that, I thought this topic today we shall land cast from city centers. And guess what? There are some teachers I've been into the the year and the teachers have been giving their opinion on this. So let's find out what they think before what you think. Here we go. We now need to be in a world where cars are everywhere, more people are driving than ever before, and the number of cars in our city roads is at an all time high. Many people believe bancars in cities may help combat the rising pollution levels and make cities less congested. However, many view cars as an essential mode of transport and and think that current public transport may not be able to cope with so many people. We wanted to find out what people thought, so we asked teachers, should cars be banned in large cities? I do think it's a good idea because it will reduce pollution, but I think it's important that there is very effective public transport systems in place to make sure people will get around obcities a hub of activity, and lots of business goes on. So I think it's really important people can get around easily as well. I do think it's a good idea because I found out in the holidays that a road near my house is the most polluted street in London. And that's bad for my love. Yes, I just think it's impractical. I think pollution is a bad thing in the world, and it's getting worse and worse, and we are slowly losing our planet. So pollution, however, we have too many cars on the street now, so it would be very difficult to get rid of all the cars. So maybe just get rid of them on the weekend. I don't think it's a good idea to ban cars from large cities, because without my car, I'll be forced to use public transport. And I find it very unreliable and very crowded. I think it's a terrific idea. I would love to see carars band in large cities just because of the amount pollution that they cause. The noise as well, I think is a big issue. So Yeah, I would love to see it. And I think it's doable, definitely, if we all work together. It's tricky in an ideal world, yes, but I can see how difficult that's going to be. I would not say not just polbut, I also think we are a nation gmore and more unfit. So I would like to people right back me and just be more inate. Yes, I do. Yes. Why? I think cars in cities create a lot of pollution. I also think that with the amount of people that are in the cities and the pedestrians, it also creates a bit of a hazard with them, with people wanting to cross the road and not necessarily looking where they're going. So I think it would be a good idea to get rid of cars and cities is a good idea. I think it could be a good idea because it might reduce pollution. And I think there's been a big problem in London at the moment where let's keep having bad asthma and things because the air pollution has been so terrible. I've had a problem breathing. I can smell the pollution and I can smell peture in my very front room, and I'm sat there. So Yeah, I think it could be a good idea. But there's other things you could do. You could come up with using more electric cars, baby things that don't give up, lots of poisous fumes. That would be a good idea, I think. So not banning cars completely, but thinking of an alternative type of car, alternative fuels that will irfor. I do. Oh, I think we should definitely ban cars. I think the amount of people that are using cars unnecessarily for short journeys, it just adds to the pollution. And it's really, really dangerous for all of our health. It's getting worse and worse and not better. The government has tried to do lots of different things to kind of try and reduce the traffic in London. And unfortunately, it hasn't really worked in the last five years. In the last ten years, we've had the congestion charge. We've all kinds of things. Lots of different scheemes people have been tried to be encouraged to ride bikes to work, and it hasn't really worked. And I think that actually, at the end of the day, to get the pollution levels significantly down, you just need something quite drastic. And that's going to come from taking those vehicles off the road. Could be a brilliant idea, because nourishing to Hatford is one of the most polluted roads in the whole of London. And all those fumes are interfering in polluting Young children's lands, particularly this school. So I think itbe a great idea. There were some really good thoughts in there, and they were from real teachers giving us a real idea into it. So three, what do you think? Do you agree with some of those teachers? Do you disagree? I kinda agree. Okay, why do you any kind of agree? Because for one thing, why I agree, because when I get into my mom's car, I pull on onto the driveway, even in the car, I think my lungs is about to burst because of the smell. The lungs are going to first because of but it's a good point, isn't it? Like this idea of you know it's it's bad air, isn't it? It creates pollution. Yes, Daniel, but I don't think. It's a back I'm yes, Daniel I reach three the three, the smell that three smells in the car is a car card motor. It's just a leather in the car that smells bad to three well, possibly but I think I think that's it is a good point though Daniel like we do get in the car and we do smell like and every time I go in the parking lot I just smell the car smell and and makes me and and I think I'm gonna rot away. Yeah, it's really, it's very strong, isn't it? That smell, the smell of fumes and quite and Hannah, what were you going say? Like first pollution I think is good, and like then which Oh which like I think it's rabbecause that like the teacher is good. Kind of good kind of because. When when I when I listen to that, I hear that sometimes we can use cards, but like we use the sunlight to make, to make some, like batteries and things which can make cash go straight away. But if we use the cars, the full cars, we use them for floors, and it may might be expensive and great solution. And when we get left cars, it's first, it's easy, it's cheap and it's used more useful and less pollution. I think this is a good point, isn't it? Is I think that's what we're thought thinking about today. Are we talking about is banning them when remember, ban means to take everything away, all cards? Or is this debate today more about let's not ban it, but let's find a better way, let's reduce them. Maybe let's get electric cars, maybe let's have maybe more public transport, only taxis in the city centre. Do we encourage things like people you know sharing car rides? Do we reduce it or it's the only way to stop these cities having bad air, bad pollution? Do we say, no, you have to get ce, you have to get a bus, no more cars. That's the end of it. You park it up outside the city and that's the end of it. Because we've got to think not only about the car, but maybe about the people. City centres are very, very, very busy. So think about that as well. Yes, Daniel, I think I also think that we should not like, bend them all, like kick all of them out, but change them into electric cars. I think this is a good point, isn't it? Yeah. And Yeah, let's see which country can, can, can can make the first zero, zero powering car like minit's right here. Now we have something like that. I think the thing I mean, you don't need to charge them. Actually, you can. I think that's good point. Yes. And I I'm going to say I let's just take this moment for three's point here. Hannah, you're completely right there. There are definitely what we call zero net cds. You are 100% correct out. There's already that car. But three, you are also correct because the thing that we don't have is a car that can go from a to b without needing to charge it, which costs time, which costs money, which costs commuting. Some cars can only go a short distance. Yeah, yes, three. And and also once my once, I don't know why my math, my my crazy math teacher just suddenly said that some most of our cars like those electricity cars, you have to charge them for hours and then Yeah, that's go only for like you charge it for 24 hours a whole day and you can just only go for twelve hours, not six hours. Yeah, they don't go as far, do they? That's a problem. I once I got to the beach, it's about another it's about like the whole way to like to my city to cross a to cities to get there and can you do you have time to charge? I think it knows electricity card you will have to charge charge a century to Oh, say like three how do we what charges the battery bustle fuel charges your electricity in your home still. So are we really solving the problem? Yes, Daniel. Like first, in the future, I think we can make electricity cars more efficient and more safe. And also we could reduce, we should ban oil cars or fuel cars because because every year a huge amount of oil or fuel was pulled out of the ground and every year less fuel, less fuel is from from the nature. And it also could be bad for nature. So we we should change oil carinto battery cards. You are we already said that is like a mapollution. Well, the thing is, lution electric cars do still cause a pollution because you are using it at home. You're just stopping the fumes happening in the city center. And remember what I said to you, we can think about a bigger, the bigger idea, but remember, this is about city centers. So actually, you can argue that while we haven't found a solution to fueling electric electricity in our home, it's still fossil fuels. But actually electric cars in the city centre would be better because we wouldn't be pumping out loads of fumes. Loads of gas would be because theybe electric. So that would be better for our health. And how if I banned it, let's say we we did, the motions passed that we've banned cars in the city centre. How am I gonna to get to work? How am I gonna to get to school? How am I gonna to get to my local restaurant? How am I gonna to get to the supermarket and get almost shopping back? Yes, Hannah. We could just we could just walk them, walk through there if it's like it's very it's very not like it's very not far. And if it's far, you could use you can use bibuses or subway to scribe there and it will be more faster than a car. And also do not forget that there's an airport. We don't really need to sca car. We have many different more transportation. Yeah, there's lots of access in there. Well done. How that is a very good point, isn't it? There's lots of I've just put in here. It's quite convenient, isn't it? There's shop and the shop and there's loads of shops in city centres, right? There's lots of supermarkets to go to inthe campbasses. Yes. Daniel. Yeah, but but if we use airporwe only people only use airports to go places that are outside of their city. And and if we if we use the airport to just go to the city center, that's a waste of air Batone and we can use subways, but if we use buses, that buses are used on gas, so we're not actually reducing the gas. So I think subway is the best. Yes, I think subway is a good idea. I think what Hannah is trying to say though, is is that we don't need to have a car to go to the airport because some people will say, I need a car to get to the airport. But I think Hannah saying we could get transport to even the airport, like it's so convenient that we can even get in and out of our city centers to go abroad without needing that car because a lot of people pack their cargo all of day, don't they? Whereas I think Hannah saying, no, no, no, we can get on the bus and then just get into the airport because it's so convenient. We've got all this transport. We've got all this absence. Yes. Hanmer, Yeah, go on then. Hanna, like also if you get a car and then you go there, like you'll need to use money to like buy a place for the car. And after you go the car and add the place, you park the car, you you cannot just go there for it. You just cannot just like it's free to all day. You need money and it's expensive for days. So like you if you because you only need to use two or $3 or something like that Yeah, that's a very good point. Isn't expensive to park. It's also dangerous. People have lots of accidents with so many cars around. City centres are busy. Yeah and however, what can be the problem with banning a car? What if what can be the advantage of having a car in the city centre? What do you mean go Daniel? We could have a cheaper way of going to the city center and not or literally no money because our car is our car. We don't need to pay for a ride in our car and subways car towards other transportations. They I need to pay $0.01, at least one and 100%. Daniel, I'm going to give you some figures. Daniel Hanoman three in Britain, I live in a place, but it's not far from London. But if I get the train and the tube and the bus a day to London, one day to London can cost me up to 210 pounds to get in on train and transport. Okay, we're to London before. However, if I drive in my, if I drive in my car and do a parking space and then walk in, I could be paying 35 pounds. So big difference, isn't it? Isn't that a really big difference? That that's a problem? Yeah. It needs to be cheaper to make the otherwise words people are it's more expensive sometimes to go on the city. The city transport a lot of money. Yeah, that's a lot of money. So you've got to think about that as well. Is it cheaper? Also? Not all transport goes to exactly where you're going. Yeah. You might have to walk 40 minutes and then it takes a very, very long time to get to where you need to get to. So that can be really difficult. You've got to think about those timmings. If you live in a very, very like untryside place to the city center, the train station just might be an adventure. I guess it's been drispecific year actually. Yeah the train station can take all the time. You get me. The frienseason is all the time you need to shop. That's literally so crazy you won't be able for your Cayou might you might need to bring your camping stuff to get there. Yeah I might be Minny. Yeah it's cheaper possibly Yeah and it's easier to get more stuff into a hotel. Okay, wonderful. And other ideas for us today parwell, which I'm gonna give you. So I agree heavy traffic dangerous, so it's much safer if we don't have them. Cars are noisy and we're a bit lazy when we've got a car, aren't we? But didn't exercise ses much. But an entire community telling everyone they can't use a car, that's going na be difficult to bit's going to be very difficult. People have long journeys to work, Yeah, or to school. And banning cars make it more difficult. And there are better ways to deal with the environment, maybe planting trees or building parks. I think there's good arguments for both sides that I went to go to school because my school is about 100 miles away and I would quit my school. And so three, we should ban cars from city centres. Do you agree or disagree with this motion today? Disagree, because you are in my city. I quit school, right? School is about 100 miles away. Okay, this is gonna be interesting, Hannah. You, we should bcars from city centres. Do you agree or do you disagree today? Echo peopokay, well, let's put Hannah here for a second then. Daniel, do you agree or do you disagree with today's motion? I think we should replace cds instead of banning them. So I will agree if the motion is changed. Oh, I'm gonna to be disagreeing on you're gonna be disagreeing Yeah, because you know, because Daniel, you are saying you're not saying that there isn't a problem. You're not not you're not saying no, there's no problem. You're saying there is a problem. But I don't think banning cars is the answer. I think finding better ways is the answer. Okay, sahannah, where would you like to go to say to bank PaaS from city centres are going to agree or are you going to disagree? Actually I can both, but actually I want teacher via a student, so I'll go. I thought you probably want to teacher. Okay, so we have our negative team and we have affirmative one team member. Okay, so three, Daniel and Hannah, you're gonna work together. So what's gonna to happen is I am going to give my speech, you're gonna listen carefully because you might want to use some of it to rebuttle me. Then three, you will talk for two minutes. Daniel, you will talk for two minutes. Then Hannah you will talk for two minutes and then I will open the floor to question. So you will go one after another. Okay, just so you're aware, but you'll be working together, all right? So you'll be working a sort of one big studio, all right. I think we haven't got one. Cute. About time. We're running out of time today. And but let's put on, I think we can do eight minutes of preparation so you can use some of these ideas for yourself. If I put you into another room, I'm happy to do that but I do want you to talk to each other. Okay, make sure you're nothing hitting Yeah not just draw on the board not just write funny Memon there. Yeah I can still see. I can't hear. Yeah can see. Yeah. All right. Okay, right. Let's do that. I only have a few minutes then we're gonna get into it. Oh, I don't need the browser. Well, have I got the browser for breakout? Three brilliant. There we are right everyone's in here. Okay remember you are saying no so think about why are you saying there's no problem or are you saying there is a problem but let's find a different solution. Okay, I'll see you in eight minutes. Three eyes now we always got the bird. We've got about three. We got the bird. Okay, right. And then it's gonna grab myself, right. Okay, welcome to today's debate. Today our motion is we should ban cars from city centers. On the affirmative team, we have Lisa. On the negative team, we have speakers three, Daniel and Hannah. Affirmative team will speak first. The negative team will have two minutes of speaking time each for their team. Okay, I will only have about two minutes myself. Yes. Okay, actually gonna to put two minutes 30. The affirmative team will obviously go finished. Our debate is now in session. Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, Madam Chair and worthy opponents. Today's motion is we should ban cars from city centers, and we, the affirmative team, strongly believe in this motion. We believe that we need this to improve people's health, protect the environment, and make cities safer and more pleasant places to live. Our first point, city centers suffer from high levels of air pollution caused by car emissions. This pollution increases the risk of lung disease such as asthma or heart problems. Banning cars, cities can improve air quality and reduce health risks, especially for children and elderly people. Our second point today is cars create noise, traffic accidents and stress. Pedestrian only city centres are safer and more peaceful. People can walk, cycle and spend time outdoors without fear of the traffic. Public spaces are more attractive for families, tourists or even local businesses. Our third point, it encourages sustainable transport. If cars are banned, people have to use public transport like bicycles, buses or walk itstop traffic jams, lower carbon fuel. Many European cities have already introduced car free zones and have seen positive results. According to Professor David king, cities designed for people rather than cars are healthier, more efficient and more enjoyable. In conclusion, bananning cars from city centres would create cleaner air, safer streets and a better quality of life. For these reasons, we strongly support the motion to the negative teams. Thank you. Okay, you right, Daniel open. But if you ban cards with city centers, Daniel, the city cenwe're in the formal debate. Now hold on to that. Yeah make some notes because then you can have the that at the end. Yeah, we're going we're in our formal debate now. Okay. Our first negative speaker is 33. Your time starts now. I don't I don't agree with that because because if we ban those, if we ban those on like cars, and you said we should walk to somewhere like and take take the subway or train station, but the train station and subway could be very far away. And what if they weren't they weren't train stations here and you just have to ride your bike and it has to be a long way to where you're going. And also the subways can cost a very, very much and a cheaper way. And I think maybe the car is more cheaper and you won't be able to get remote like a you won't be able to we won't be able to remote places in the city. And it's easier to get stuff into a hotel hotel or like your home. Okay, I'm done. Okay. Thank you very much. Three, to make sure to end that in conclusion or to summarize or finally Yeah make sure that we know instead of I'm done, we want to make sure we address that formally Yeah in and finally, my my worthy colleague or finally speaker Daniel will now continue my speech. Yeah so make sure you end that really professionally. Okay, three, well done. Nice speech. Okay, Daniel, you're about to strengthen your team's arguments. So Daniel, over to you. Your time starts now. But if cars are abandoned in city center, less people, it will be not easy for people to get in and around the city center and it will be hard for people that are living in the city center to get out. And if less people are in the city center than many shops will have less people to to visit them and buy things. Then theyeventually close and many, many shops or clothand then shop or, and then and then maybe all of the shops in the city center will run out of business. And people, and the people that are, that, that, that like to work in the shop won't have a way to make money. And so they they won't have enough money for to live. And and and I think we should not just bbut, and I also think that we couldn't bparts because care important tions and maybe the most important inventions. And for example, I'm riding a car right now. We should we should use, we should transfer oil cars into electrical cars because electrical cars don't give us fumes that make our air dirty. They go sick. Okay, I'm done. Okay. So again, Daniel, make sure that that ending isn't I'm done. That ending is finally, make your point. PaaS it on to hanger. Yeah. So make sure we do that rather than when I'm done. Yeah because your points are really good, Daniel. Really good. So don't lose it at the end there. Yeah, well done. Excellent. Nice thoughts. Okay, Hannah, your time starts now. Is that? Yes? Go on, Hannah. Like do I do rebuttal or something like this? You do. I, you can make another point. Hanna, you can make another point. You can rebuttle. There will be time to rebuttle the, to rebuttle me. I've got some questions for you guys, but you can make your point. You can also rebuttle something as well if you want to. Okay, having your two minutes starnow. So first, my point is that we can use use the cars to make, we could use electric cars instead of the fill cars and like because that electric cars, they're more like they're more good because that because electric cars, they sometimes use sunlight and they just only need to to to wait for a again. And then after that they are finished. And if it's like focus cthey, they just, they need to, they need to buy some oil or flowso. So they need money and it's expensive. And then which after that, if we get cars as cheaper sometimes, isn't it like it's cheaper because that because that is cheaper because of if we we use other transportation, it might cost a lot. If we use our own car, it didn't cost, it just cost a lot of money in one day. But the other stait's good. So it's a benefit. The next one, that the next reason is that it's easier to get more stuff in a hotel is because that cars could be big or small. But when it's on subways, you can only get a little bit off. And also you need to walk away from that place to another. And if you walk away, it takes a lot of time, and you might do not have enough energy or you're not strong enough. So Yeah, that's it. To PaaS it into, I don't know. So you'll now PaaS it back to the chair. So if you were the last speaker Honas, you can say, I yield it back to the chair or PaaS it back to the chair. Yeah, well done. So Hannah, again, just not address all of you. The addresses at the end need to be much, much stronger. Finally, in conclusion, no, I'm done. Yeah because in a competition that honestly would be the reason that you wouldn't win Yeah because theybe like Oh they don't care Yeah so make sure it's got in conclusion. Finally, Hannah strong arguments. Okay, we've only got two minutes but I'm gonna to open the floor two questions and I have got a question I'm dying to ask three since she gave the speech which is you talked about like walking everywhere was I said she was really healthy. My our argument from the affirmative team is that walking is really healthy for people. But and three, you talked about the fact that actually it could make people very tired, it could make people exhausted. And why do you not think people would just get used to it? Surely if you bancars, people would just get used to the idea. Because if they have, sometimes they have to just walk a bit and sometimes no, just have to walk really long. But but they have to they have to if you say they can just like get used to it. And it was sometimes like this. And this thing can take a really, really long time to get used to because sometimes you have to just walk a few steps and sometimes you have to like run all the way, okay? Because people are the sort of run from America, Atlantic Ocean, China, happy to do that for okay. Okay. There's a good answer. It's a good answer to yes. Daniel, I question for for you. The teacher, like you said that we should be from city center, then they will be peaceful, but but city center, but the city center is is for us, but city centers are just made for the noises and loud and then whatever. And so if we bank harvor city center as well, wouldn't it be like not a city center anymore? Just and other the shops closed, like I said, won't it not be a city center anymore? Okay, so good. It's a good point that the negative team come up with and the affirmative team are going to have to concede that speaker Daniels point is valid. And we will acknowledge the idea that city centres do have an appeal to be noisy. So we will concede that point to our negative team. Well then, Daniel, you've just won it for your team. Absolutely fantastic. It was a great it showed how you listened to what we were talking about and then used that against her. So well, that three, Daniel and Hannah. And big success for today, guys, your big, big success was you worked beautifully as a team. Yeah. I could see you were diit up. I could see that you were sort of picking what people should say. None of you spoke about the same thing. You all backed each other up. It was great to see that teamwork. Yeah, well, well done. I'm really proud of you. Right? To nictomorrow not tomorrow, next week, definitely not tomorrow. Should every child have to join a sports club or team? Have a think Oh, okay, I think it's going be interesting. You do and you do. Oh, okay. Well, maybe I'll think about both sides because I would like to do some more sharing next week. I'd like you guys to take more responsibility. Yeah. So think about both sides because we can only do anything about that. Like I can't get a whole lesson and there's three, I and Hannah and you're gonna debate for the whole and no, no, no, you three, we'll move you three. You three will be next. Yeah Daniel can take the class next week. Guys, have a wonderful New Year's eve. I will see you in 20, 26, six. I believe it. See you next year. Bye.
