Because as I stressed then, and will no doubt continue to Wang on about learning new words, really the most important thing when it comes to verbal reasoning, there is nothing more important then just swatting up on as much vocap as possible. So let's dive in. I'm going to give you the words in sentences first, see if you can deduce the meaning. So I ordered some haddock. The chips chips shop was haddock. It's like I kind of fish that like. Normally like. Comes with like. Fish and chiyeah in the uk absolutely very kind of very unfishy tasting fish, very soft tasting, similar to cod, which is the other classic fish and chips fish Yeah and often served battered in England. Yeah, good. I'm teaching my nephew. To swim at the moment. He still needs ts arbands. Did we do that? It's like like a thing you like wear on your like arms to. To like low. Yeah, absolutely. So you persuade someone to do something you know through negative means. And it can be really broad. Like there are lots of different ways to goat someone into doing something. You can insult them, you can threaten them, you can mock them. Yeah, there are loads of loads of different ways. It's actually, it might be worth us thinking about what the original meaning of to godes was because it's quite interesting goliterally. This is not the way that it's often used, but it literally meant to kind of poke an animal with a stick, with a pointy stick. You know if you wanted to get your cow to like move to another bit of the field, you would prod them with a with a kind of like a sort of spear type thing to goads and animal, we look at this. Yeah you can see here they're in this old drawing. You've got these cows, and so there's a guy poking poking the cows with a Spike. So that's the image that we're working with here. That's literally what to gomeans is like, do it, you know? So that you know, when we say I was goaded into doing something, that's the metaphor. Your, you're poked, your your ow, all right, okay, I'll do it. But that can be, as I said, achieved through any number of you know ways. So we've skipped out loads of material that we would normally do and we're going straight to challenge. So these are not meant to be easy. Focus test one similarities. Which of the shape belongs to the group on the left circle the letter. So you're just looking at these. You're trying to identify some common theme in the examples, obviously, that they're all circles. And actually that gets us to our answer because a's and oval, bis a kind of rounded rectangle. C is a rounded triangle. E's a kind of rounded square. He's the only one which has two circles. So ld, that's the name of the game. The questions are going to be a little bit harder than that one. Have a go. Yep, I agree. Absolutely right. When we've got the circle, it's intersecting this square. We want a black circle inside. When the trianggle is intersecting, we want a White circle inside. And the bigger problem is the five sided shape because there's complete you know all of them have four sides, whereas with the trianggle, some of them are black and some of them have got that crisscross pattern. And so we've got a really good choice to make, which is, do we keep on sort of just congratulating you for being so brilliant at nonverbal reasoning? Or do we dig into something that might be a little bit more challenging? My instinct is that there's more work to be done on the verbal reasoning side of things just because of the amount of vocabulary that you have to learn to be good at those papers. So my suggestion would be that we we spend more time on the vr and especially on vocab building, and we dip our toes into nvr every now and then. But I don't think it's the priority. I think you're really good at that. And you're not going na get below 85, even higher percent on any given paper, which is great as a cause for celebration.
