I go to the beach. Oh, nice. Oh, my goodness, I wish I could go to the beach. It's so cold here now. So is it nice and warm? One Oh I'm jealous and yes I can only imagine from the beach here but actually in Scotland it's cold now so I have to have this thing can you see this is the hot water bottle on my lap because I it's cold. So let's bring up today's lesson. So we've got a very interesting one about art today which we're going to talk about later. Yes. So as usual, we'll go to the motion and I'll put that here. Is digital art just as worthy of regard as classical paintings? Now, as usual, can you tell me who was affirmative this week? Afmalovely? So Cassie is going to say, yes, digital art is absolutely fine. So Cassie, affirmative, you're going to support digital art. So is it just as worthy? So we'll talk about what that means in a moment. And Luna, you are going to be negative, and you're going to say negative, negative, and you are going to say, no, it's not as worthy. No, I support classical art. Okay, so there we go. Those are the different positions today. And we just want to talk about what it means, just as worthy. So we had to talk last time before we ended the lesson, what do you think it means? Is it just as worthy? Yes, Cassie, that's very good way to put it, actually. Yes. So I think this one, we will define the motion ourselves together because it's a little tricky, this one. So we'll say, is it as special and is it as respected as well? So special and respected. So we will put here is digital or should. Digital art be seen as special. Don't be seen as all trick you want, just as special and respected as classical art. Maybe I'll make that shorter. Is digital art as special and respected as classical art? There we go. So we've got a little definition here that maybe will make that a little bit more accessible. There we go. And as usual, I'll ask one reason from both of you. So Cassie, you say yes, why is it just as special and respected? Or should be physical and Cal need real talent and hard work. Very good. Okay, that is I actually had a look after our last lesson and some of it is quite amazing. So real talent and hard work as much as the classical artists, just a different way. So real talent and hard work we can add here as much as the classical artists. So if you ever study any of the classical artists, they spend sometimes years making a painting, sometimes months and weeks. So they spend a long, long time. But actually digital art pretty much the same. They spend a very long time getting their art together. So, Luna, tell me, no, why is classical. Classipaintings have more texture. Lovely. Yes. That is, you can't replicate the texture, can you? Classical art, and the art from classical art was made to have texture. They wanted you to see the texture, didn't they? So classical art has more texture. So texture means how it looks on the page, how the painter creates it, and when you can see the paint, when you can see the paint strokes, when you can see how it dried and all of how it comes off the page slightly, which is different for digital art. So lovely. So texture we can add here, which is a real skill. So not just because the paint was drying, the painter would deliberately make it in certain ways, which is a real skill. Okay, lovely. So we'll leave that to get your brain's thinking and we'll go on to the lesson. Okay, so lesson 13, persuasive devices. You have done so well, girls, that you've actually covered lots of these things, and we're just putting it together now. So we want to persuade the audience to think in particular ways so we can use persuasive devices to engage and convince them. So here are some things we can say to help persuade people, you've got all of these. How about we have Luna. Can you read these ones? That's good reason we strongly believe that. Of course, without a let without a doubt that one doubt a doubt is when you're not sure about something when you are very sure you say without a doubt there's no doubt. So let me put the spelling head out. Doubt it's a very weird word. Doubt. Let us say like that doubt. Okay so we've got with good reason we strongly believe you changed that to I for yours because you are a two person debate. I strongly believe that of course, without a doubt, and these things tell us, I really know this is, it's very persuasive. Okay, case, Cassie, sorry. Can you read this one? It is imperative that we utcondemn, obviously, research suggests, lovely. So research, we've looked at this before, is a very good way to persuade people, because it means that somebody has done the research, somebody has the facts, and you can't argue with the facts. They are there. It is imperative. Imperative means important. So it is so important that you see this, that you do this, that you think this we utterly condemn is a negative. So we are against or I am against. I am very much against. So we utterly condemn. I am against. Let's just put the meaning at the top there. Very against. Okay. And obviously people say that a lot in conversation in the uk, people say, Oh, obviously a lot because it means that it's so obvious, it's so simple, you don't even need to think about it. Research suggests, which we've just talked about. And then to make things fair, I will read this one. Is it really worth, it's clear for all to see? Evidence overwhelmingly shows. How could anyone possibly. So this is a little bit like the research suggests for even higher level, because it says overwhelmingly, it means there's so much research, so much evidence to say what I want to say. So these are all very persuasive. So what we'll do is we'll pick one or two and we'll try to use them in our arguments. So could you put a little star against two each and choose two different ones? Lovely. That one is. So of course, obviously research suggests how you're doing their Luna. We've got three fantastic, okay, difficult to do the stuff. Yes, don't worry too much. This is not a drawing lesson. I know how to try it. Do a circle or something else if it's too tricky. With good reason. Lovely. So Cassie's got four there, so let's do four each then. And one more. One more Luna. Lovely. Okay. I strongly believe that. So I'll take is that the one you want? I strongly believe. You'll start, don't worry too much. Remember, I'm not assessing your classical art, your digital art, I should say. So this one is for Luna. Whoops, still at the star. Lovely, beautiful little stuff. Okay, so I will do a screenshot of this so we can remember and we'll put that here. Okay, and just remember which color you were and we'll come back to that lovely, so very good ways and all you need to do is put them at the front of your sentence to try to persuade people. So there's a difference between fact and opinion. So a fact is something truthful and you can prove it and you can use this as evidence. So like I said before, you can't argue with a fact. A fact is something you cannot change. A triangle has three sides. You can't argue this. It's and it's always going to be nothing can ever change them. So that's a fact. Cats have whiskers. That is a fact. So unless they have some kind of problem or cats should have whiskers. So there we go. These are whiskers. You know these things. Yeah so cats have whiskers and actually they need them. It's like little senses. They need them to sense things. So those are the whiskers. And all cats have whiskers, very long ones. My cat has very long whiskers. Okay, there you go. People need water to survive. So that is also, oops, very so I think I need to take that one because sometimes it doesn't like all of us doing it. So people need water to survive. We do. We need water to live. We if we don't have water, we will die. But you can get water in lots of things. Water is inside vegetables, inside fruit, inside even Coca Cola. So it's watis inside everything really. Okay, then you've got opinion. So opinion is different. So we know this is the fact. Triangles are easy to draw. That's not a fact. That's an opinion. Some people might think, yes, they're very easy. Some people might go, no, my triangles are like a square. So they may find it not very easy at all. So that is opinion. You if it's only for you, it's an opinion. Or if it's only for one person or a few people, it's an opinion, but it's not for everybody. So I'm going to put that up here because I think that's a crucial opinion, not for everybody. Okay, then we've got cats have whiskers. Baccats are cute. I think that's a fact. But maybe some people, some weird people think they're not cute. The listen, Cleo, so cats are cute. That's my opinion. I know it's not for everybody. Okay, people need water to survive. Fact. You need to drink two to three liters of water each day to survive. Do you drink lots of water, girls? Yes, sometimes there's sometimes just I'm just drinking some now. Yes, same as you. Sometimes I drink a lot and other times I don't really have time. But you don't need to drink so much. Two to three liters is a lot. It's two to three big bottles. So that's quite a lot. Some people may say that's what we need or I need, but as long as you have a little bit, you're okay. You're going to live opinion. So let's have a look here. We should eat less meat, okay? And let's have a look at these opinions. Okay? Now, sorry about this. It's going very fast. We should eat less meat. Who can think of a fact about this subject? Something we've done a little bit about. Yes, Cassie. Eating protein, iron and zinc. Meat is protein and iron and zinc. What were you going to say, Luna? Eating less meat is good for human health, good for human health. So a little bit of a mixture of both. So it is good for health. So it's protein, that is for sure. Human health, hmm. So some people will don't eat meat. They would say, no, it's terrible, not my health. So that might be opinion, but it's a very close one. Actually. It's a difficult one, that one. But it does definitely have protein and zinc and iron. How about something about the environment? What do cows do to the environment? Luna? Eating less meat helps animals and the environment. It does help the environment. What do cows do? They fought a lot and their sport has misyes very good. So there's your fact there. Which makes global warming have methane, which warms the atmosphere. So that is a fact. So you see these very official sounding words when when there's a fact. It's not opinion. The guts do have methane and and the meat does have protein. It's not opinion. You can't argue that. So calfarts have methane, which warms the atmosphere. That is, the meat does have protein, zinc and iron. That is, that's a fact. We cannot argue these. We may be able to argue about the health because some people will say, no, it's healthier to not eat meat. And some people will say it's healthier to eat meat. So that's there. Then let's think of opinions about this topic. So what would be an opinion about this? Yes, Cassie, meat is yummy. Meat is yummy. Exactly. It's yummy for some people, but not everybody. So only for some people. How about you, Luna? Meat is healthy. Meat is healthy. Very good. So some people will say meat is healthy. Some people will see the opposite. No, it's very unhealthy. So that one we still cannot say 100%. Yes. So well done. Those are facts and those are opinions. Very good girls. This one are adopting pets is better than buying pets. So adopting a pet, let's talk about it first because we didn't talk about this one. Why would people adopt instead of buying? What does it mean to adopt? Did take take a dog from the road. And Luna, the very good, sorry, I'm drinking my water now because I'm now learning that what I need to Hamet. So yes, taking a dog from a bad situation, maybe it was on the street, like you said, maybe had a bad owner before. And they have adoption houses. So you can go to the adoption house and you can find a dog or a cat, and they will tell you about the history. They may say, Oh, this dog was found on the road, or this, this cat was very badly treated by the owner before, and it needs a home and it needs somebody that loves it. So very good. So let's just put the meaning here. So taking pets from an adoption house. Who have had usually a bad life before. So you're giving them a good life. So you go into the adoption house and you take a pet to give them a good life. Okay. So why do we think some people think adopting is better than buying? Let's start with Luna. Can see you're about to say something. So why is adopting better than buying? Why do some people think this losome homestone need monitor boy and buying pet is expensive? That's right. Yes, it can be more expensive to buy. Definitely, because they are bread dogs as well. And caps. Yes, Cassie. If you adopdog a pet, you you Ming give warm heart, your kind. Yes, you're giving them a good, a good home. So these are opinions. Yes. So I'm going put both your opinions there. So adopting, if you adopt. You are a kind person offering an animal a nice home. Adoption is cheaper here in the uk. I don't know how it works in China. If you adopt a pet in the uk, you don't pay anything. But they come to check your house. They come to check your house and they say, is it safe? Is it okay? Are you going to be a good owner, or are you going to treat it badly? So you have to do lots of interviews and you they need to check your house to make sure everything is safe. So you don't pay, but you need to make sure you're giving this animal a really nice home, your kind person, a option is cheaper. That's opinion because not always some adoption places charge more. So yes, I agree that that's opinion. Okay, so let's have a think now facts is more difficult for this one. We may need to try and find some. So if we're trying to find a fact for this, we might go to good old AI. Let's see if I can show you this. So I think I need to put it on the chat. There we go. So let's see. Can you see my AI here? Yes, lovely. Okay. So I'm going to type in here. Now when you do AI, like I said before, make sure you always ask for the source. That means then it's a real fact that it's not just AI talking nonsense, because it does make a lot of nonsense sometimes. So I will say here. Give me a fact for now. What kind of fact can I ask for about the topic of adopted animals? Mm, usually facts are numbers. I know how animals ground on the street. Very good for how many animals. And then what you'll need to do is narrow it down. So you might have to say in China or in the uk or in America. So because you are in China, I am in the uk. What shall we say? Shall we say China or the uk? Uokay, okay, I think it will be less because China is so big. So maybe a better statistic there. So give me a fact on how many animals on the street. Okay? Oh, that's sad. So we already got facts straight away. 1.1 million homeless pets, cats and dogs, 67000 stray dogs and 1 million stray cats. Stray means they are on the street. So there we go. And then it says, Oh, so it's got the fact here. Where did it get this? Let's see, let's check. It's real and not just AI. That is real because this website is a vet a vet desk and they have researched so that's where it found the numbers. Oh, that's very sad. I'll get too sad with this topic. So I'm going to put that down here. So let's bring Oh, let me get that again so I can remember the number. Oh, where is it? Went? 1.1 million, wasn't it? Okay, thank you. So facts is 1.1 million. Dogs and cats are on the street. So dogs and cats, that's a lot are on the streets in the uk. They are homeless. I don't see any. That's really strange. I only ever see pets, but maybe they're living in the forests or something. So there is 1.1 million. So that is a good fact. Fantastic. So when you look at facts, numbers, usually, but not always, this is a fact. Also Protein Science. Science is facts. Maths is facts. This is science. The cofarts have methane. And then opinion is just something we think. Okay, so here we're going to talk about the numbers for the facts. Cassie, can you read this? 25% of people agreed it was the best pizza they had ever tasted. Very good. So this is very persuasive, isn't it? Because they say it's a very high number. 95%, it's a lot of people, they love the pizza. So this is very persuasive. It's a fact. There's maps, there's a percentage, and it's a high percentage. Oh, I want to buy the pizza because so many people loved it. Okay. And Luna, can you read this one? 85% of children believe homework should be abolished. Abolished? Yes, very good. I am actually studying linguistics as part of my course. So I'm going to look at how we pronounce things like this. Exactly. But abolished and where the word comes from. Abolished means, what do you think abolished means? Anished, yes, exactly. Banned. So we should not have homework banned. And that's persuasive because again, 85% is a high number. Now I wouldn't say 100% and that's never 100% is never there's always some people who don't think the same as everybody else. And also 100% is not very realistic. So if you're going to find a high number, don't find 100%, but find a high number like 85 or 95. If you want to persuade people, sometimes you want a very low number. So you might say something like 5%, only 5% of people who own pets have adopted. We want to say that's very bad. So I give a low number have adopted. Okay, so repetition, repeating things. Luna, can you read this one? Pet are the best. They make great pets and are very friendly. Pets are the best. Very good. So this person, it wasn't me, I promise, but this person loves cats. So they want you to love cats and they want to persuade you by repeating. And when you repeat, it goes in people's heads, okay? Or you can repeat it in a different way. So it's got the same meaning, but you just say it a little bit differently. So can you say this one? Read this one, Cassie. All the best. They have great. They make great pets and are very friendly. You should choose a cat because they make the best pets. Very good. So we've got here cats are the best and then they make the best pets. It's it means the same thing. So it's repeated but in a different way. So you can do that a lot with English because we have so many words that mean the same thing. Emotive language. What do you think is emotive language? Lunus disappeared as she ous. What does emotive sound like? Everyone knows it. Emotive is yes, that's a good example. A good example. Yes. Creates an emotion. Yes. So everyone knows this that creates an emotion because people feel I'm gonna be left out. So I better know this as well. So it does create an emotion. So how does it make you feel? What are the emotional words, the emotive words to make you feel? And then we're going to read this sad, sad thing. Okay, Luna, can you read this one? We should. Add Pollet pat instead of boiling one after this. Every. Year there are thousands of hoppies left to wander the street. Ets get red and alone, only peoples have could support the research then then rescue them. How can you lift them sleeping in a street and buy another one? Very good. So this one we should adopt pets instead of buying one. We should after Christmas. Every year there are thousands of abandoned puppies left to wander the streets scared alone. So how can you leave them sleeping in the street and just buy another one? So what does the person want us to feel? Bad. They want us to feel really bad. They want us to feel really sad for the dog. They want us to feel bad because they want us to take an adopted pet. So they say if we make the people feel very bad, they will take an adopted pet. Sometimes you make the people feel very good. That's also another way to persuade. Wow, if you buy this hair shampoo, everybody will think you're the most beautiful person. So make people feel, Oh, I'm going to feel so beautiful when I buy this hair shampoo. So lots of emotions persuade people. Okay, so what I'll do now, as always when we do the learning part, I don't expect you to bring it into this debate. You can try, but make sure you try to bring it into the next debate because we only just learned and I know you need time to go over so we've got here try to add some facts and opinions. I know you've already done your research. So mate, I know that actually you both do this quite a lot anyway. Statistics which means numbers. So we'll get this ready mostly for next week. But if I spot any this week, then wonderful repetition, repeating yourself, emotive language. Okay. I recognized a lot of these things already in some of your past your past arguments. So I am quite confident that you can bring them into next weeks. There we go. So let's think about this very interesting topic. I like this one because I never know exactly how I feel for this one. So is digital art just as worthy of regard as classical paintings? We're going to define it down for this one and then get going. Actually, let me bring that up there. So you've got it all on the same page. So let's I tell you what, because I can't fit it, I'll scroll down to help you so you can remember. So I'll scroll down after you've done your intro. All right, so Cassie is going to begin. Are you ready? Cassie? Yes, fantastic. Okay. One, 23. Good evening, judaudience. My name is Cathy. Today I will give you three main points. One, both digital and classical art need real talent and hard work. Two, they both make people feel something and free. They both tell stories and reflect the world. Firstly, complaabout classical painters. They spent years to. They spent years learning how to hold a brush and mithe paint. Did you call artists? That's the same. They learned how to use different softwares. An artist using a software to draw a face still has to master column zing. And many. They don't just click a button and get the out. Secondly, think about the starnight. What does it make you feel? Yes, it makes you feel calm. Now think of obversions of superheroes, pick back man, for example. It makes you feel excited. Classical paintings and digital you paintings, both can make you feel something. Nowadays, people accept. Digital paintings, for example, beles every days, the first 5000 days sold for $69 million, which demonstrates that digital art can have the same high market value as classical art. Thirclassical paintings documents the past. Physical art captures the present. And imagine the future. Take a his cyrows the street and souls. It shows us what earth was like from long ago. Digital artists can do the same. Jacob cutstock ck Stinson, a famous digital artist, drew lots of paintings about climate change. It tells us to love our planet. The other side might say that digital art is easy and fake because you can undo mistakes. But classical artists can scpe off pay, too. Digital art has its own challenges. It's a different skill, but it's still a skill. In conclusion, art is about what you create, not what you use to create. It did to go out and let's go out. Both take talents, make us feel and matter to culture. So they are equally worthy, faithful. Your motion should set. Thank you for listening. Beautiful. Yes, I did spot a lot of those techniques there so I'm gonna pop this on the chat so we can copy this up. Okay, so did I got all of that? I think so. All right, so if we have a look at the arguments that Cassie made here, very persuasive. Well done. So I'm going to pop this here. Make it a bit bigger for you, Luna. There we go. So they both need talent. They make people feel something. So you can't you can't control how people feel just because one painting is old and one painting is not. People feel different ways looking at different art. And that can also be modern art. They use different software. So drawing a face still needs matching and shading and other things. That's very then we got, I like this, the comparison with the starry night, a classical painting. How does it make us feel? It makes you feel. So that' S Vincent van Goff, isn't it? And how does it make us feel when we look at it? It makes you feel a certain way. Now, something modern like Batman, how does it make you feel? It makes you feel excited. So modern things can make us feel things just as much as classical things. 5000 days, yes, that is the famous, most famous digital art, I think. So I'm gonna to bring that up so we can have a look at that. You can't really capture how involved it is on computer because it is such an enormous, an enormous painting. So it is made up of 5000 pictures from 5000 days into a shape. And it took an incredible amount of time. So there it is. You can see each one is a little photograph, and then it sort of forms outlines. So it was extremely clever. So that's sold for $69 million. So same high market value teaches us things. I didn't catture the name, so you'll have to teach me his name. Who is the digital artist you mentioned Jacob, something. Tstock tstock that sounds German. Yes. Stock inson sounds very German. Okay. Yes. I think I can still see him. So he is a digital artist who teaches about climate change. Artists always teach us things. Even the kasaartists were teaching us things. So they do the same. Now it has its own challenges. And it's about, I love the last line. It's about what you create and not what you use. And there was a nice bit of repetition I noticed as well. So I think I noticed all of those in one way or another, but just get them ready for next week as well. So very good argument. You're getting better and better and better each week and more confident. So now is Luna. Who's going to argue the opposite? No. So can you. Are you ready to begin? Luna, ready. Fantastic one, 23. Good evening, judges and audience. My name is Luna. I define classical paintings are better than digital art. Our team is against this motion today. I'll give, too, main points. One, classical paintings have more texture. Two, unique makes art more valuable. First, art is not just a picture. It it should have. So digital art might be beautiful, but it often looks flat, smooth, cheap and fake. Classical paintings, however, have surface and valuable brush strokes. They feel more real. For example, when painting waves, oil paintings have layers and texture, so they have sebut. Digital waves are just flat colors, like a straight line. You can't feel the power of the ocean at all. They are boring. This is for many things in life. Handmade things are always more special and more expensive. For example, handmade coffee in a coffee always tastes better than the three in one instant coffee you buy in a supermarket. No matter how many flavors the instant coffee has, it's dustic and artificial, so it's no surprise that handmade classical paintings have a much better texture than digital pictures. Second, being unique makes art more valuable. Digital art can copy a painting many times, and all copies are totally the same. But classical art is different. An artist can never paint too, exactly the same paintings in the world. Their brush, their, the brush jokes and colors will always be a little different, which makes each painting unique. This is exactly when an artist does. Their paintings often become expensive, especially the expensive, the paintings often become even more special and expensive. Let's talk about lealdo da Vinci and lemona Lisa as an example. Once da venci passed away, he couldn't create any more new paintings. Even if digital art copies the Mona Lisa perfectly, it's just, it's still just a cheap copy, not the real thing. The original painting has a long history and unique Marks from the artist, which can never be replaced. That's why the original is that's why the original is so valuable. Now, the other side might say, digital art can make pictures move, but what makes art truly beauty is the space it leaves for people to imagine. For example, if we make the digital Mona Lisa starting starting to talk, it might look funny at first, but it would ruin the beauty of her mystery. In the end, classical art is not just about looking good, it's about feeling, history and a piece of artist heart. Therefore, the motion should not stand. Thank you. Lovely, fantastic argument from you this week, Luna. Fantastic from both of you. But I can see you've become so much more confident, your reading's getting better and you've got some really lovely opinions in this. So I saw lots of opinion. I also saw some facts when you're talking about Leonardo da Vinci and him dying. So well done. You both seem to include lots of these anyway, so I love the repetition of soul as well. So I don't know if you knew you did that, but you repeated soul a lot. And that really was a nice thing because it made it it made it very persuasive. So I'm gonna na pop this here dbell, okay, there we go. Did I use dbell? Was that one for me? Okay, so lovely. Let's see what we've got here from Luna. So I was typing away. So Luna argues that classical has more texture. And then you went into the argument in real depth. So the uniqueness of the texture, the soul, it makes it not flat, whereas digital is flat, soulless and cheap. Very good, very persuasive. Classical has beautiful layers that come from the person you feel the power behind the artist's paintbrush, seeing the texture. And then you talked about other examples where handmade is always better, like a coffee. And you're absolutely right. It is, isn't it? Handmade cakes are always better, digalways, fake and artificial. And then the uniqueness, and I hadn't thought of this, but that is a really good argument. Once Leonardo da Vinci died, nobody on the earth has ever been able to replicate a painting of his in his exact style. So I believe that painting is a little bit like handwriting. Our handwriting is unique to us and painting is the same. The style of the painter is very unique to the painter. And you cannot replicate it. You cannot fake it. So very, very good arguments. And it's valuable for a reason. You've got the sole there laying through. So very, very good. All as we all have. We've got a little bit of time. Let's have a look at this video. Here are five differences between traditional art versus digital art. Did I show you this one last time? No, I don't think so. So she is an artist, and she's talking about the difference between digital and here are five differences between traditional art versus digital art. Let's start with a traditional number one, it's tangible. Even though a drawing or a painso tangible, something you can feel is two dimensional. You can feel the texture of the paper, canvas and paint. There's nothing better than a paintbrush to paper. This is honestly one of the best feelings ever, and I'm sure a lot of artists would agree. Also, mixing paint is truly a fun and magical experience. Number two, it doesn't rely on technology. When you're creating art, you don't have to worry about charging any devices. You can draw and paint any time without any interruptions. You just need a right lighting. The only time you would need to use technology is when you need to scan your piece onto your computer. If your painting is too large to scan, you would need to use a camera to photograph it yourself. Number three, it creates a deep connection between the person and the artwork. The first thing I think about are going to museums, art shows and events. I love going to museums because it feels like I'm traveling to a different time in history. I can spend hours examining a particular painting and being fully enamored in every stroke. In detail, you get to learn about the story behind a painting and looking at it as if you're watching a film about it. When I look at a painting, I can imagine myself walking inside it and living life in that particular era. One of my favorite memories at a museum is when I went to Paris back in 2:12. I did go to the lavoire museum, and I saw the Mona Lisa painting. Has anybody been to the Louvre in Paris? No it's a very, very crowded. I will say that it's a your mohas wow. Yes, the the tourists are as hugely crowded and obviously the Mona Lisa. So your mowill know this is the most popular attraction inside the Louvre and it means that the queue is enormous. So but I did see it. I thought about Leonardo da Vinci and how long it must have taken him to complete the painting. I wondered about his creative process and what his studio looked like. Through every painting you see at a museum or an art show, you get a little piece of the artist's soul. Number four, very close to what you're saying then, Luna, or versatility. When you're creating an art piece, you're free to use a variety of materials to add more dimension. The act of making art with your own hands and meshing different mediums together creates a very unique experience. You can use found objects, recycle material or fabric. The possibilities are endless. Number five, it helps increase your problem solving skills. A great example of this is when you're painting on a large scale and you're painting a portrait or from real life, you'll need to take some time to make proper measurements and think about the right composition. When you work with your art materials, there's this deep connection between you and the medium. You learn how certain mediums work on different surfaces and how they react when used into conjunction with another medium. Now let's move on to digital. Now digital art. So Luna, very well done because she's covered a lot of what you said. So now we're gonna to move on to digital art. And I believe she's covered a lot of art. Has I said there are a lot of things that I've found from creating digital illustrations. Number one, it's less waste. Creating digital illustrations means that you can create a huge body of work all in one device. It frees up so much space and adds less clutters to your home. Number two, extra tools. The great thing about digital art is that you're given so many amazing tools that you can't get with traditional art. There's is an undo button, a plethora of brushes, you can duplicate layers, it's easier to find the color you want, and the list goes on and on. You have access to all these tools within seconds. All you have to do is tap, tap, tap. One of my favorite things about digital art is that I can easily add text. When I used it, urban sketch at coffee shops, and I would draw the menu. I used to use a White gel pen. It would be so annoying having to make layers of it to brighten the text. And when I would scan the image, it would look so messy. So I love writing on my iPad because you don't have to add it. So many layers, and it's easy and clean. Number three, instant shaability digital art allows you to instantly share your art all across your social media and you will receive feedback from others within me. I thought this one was interesting because Luna, you said that was not a good thing. The fact that you can replicate it. So we've got both arguments on both sides here and she's saying it is a good thing. So that's a very opinion based one and there's no right to that, but it's good that you covered it. You can, of course, do this with your traditional art, but it might take a little longer. Number four, flexibility. Now these tie in with number two, but I love that you can move things around, resize an image within seconds, you can add layers and you can erase without leaving a mark ker indentation. Number five, you save money. Now. Yes, you're spending money up front on an iPad or tablet, which can get really expensive, but you'll be saving money in the long run. You don't have to go to the art store every few weeks or months to get more paper or paint, which will add up. Sure, you might have technical difficulties and might drop and break your tablet, but with extra care and protection, you won't have to worry about that too much. Another great thing is that you don't have to spend time and money on a scanner with digital art. All you have to do is save it onto your device, and you don't have to worry much about color correction and removing dust, please. So we can see that she covered quite a bit of what you said, and I thought it would be important to play that after rather than before, and then you can sort of, you can feel good about yourself and consolidate it. So at next one is, Oh, this one, if a gallery is on a fire or which one will you save? A cat or a famous painting? You know my answer? Mona Lisa. No, but a cat. Yes. Okay, so now we're going to do it like this because Cassie, you were affirmative. So Luna, you're gonna to be the first one. There's not really an affirmative here. There's not really an agree, but you're going to save the cat. Yes. So I know, I know everyone usually wants this one. So it's very hard if you get the painting. So Luna, you'll be the cat because you're going to say the first thing. And Cassie, you've got a difficult one here. You're going to save the famous painting. So there we go and you're gonna to give your reasons why. Why save the cat? Why save the famous painting? Lovely. And let me know when you've written that down. And this one's pretty good for using a lot of those techniques that we learned today. So using the repetition, the emotive statements, you can probably find some facts about paintings or about cats and their lives, maybe the pain that cats feel. And yes, I think you could probably cover all of those. So have you got that down there? Cassie can see you. Raway, perfect. Okay. So I will see you both next week. It was lovely to see you and a very good lesson as well. Bye bye, no problem, bye bye, bye bye, have a lovely evening, bye bye.
